Any riders around York, PA?

just got my xb9 a month ago and I was looking for a buell group ride mear MD.. I'm in silver spring MD like two hours from PA. If it is a ride group I would love to join.

someone take the lead on this and as a suggestion....we rendezvous at the York H-D plant front visitor parking lot and go from there. some saturday or sunday would be great. again offering my services as "tour-meister" if a leisurely pace is your cup of tea. if not then go to hell.

as follow-up: suggestion for York get-together: we all meet at the H-D plant for convenience at 1200hrs. laggers and neerdowells shall be vanquished. being the elder statesman and slowest rider in the bunch i'll shall lead the charge. east bound to wrightsville...up along the river to the falling houses...west to york springs for beverages...west to dover for fuel and beverage...west to mt. holly springs for pizza and beverages and bragging....west to my cabin for break and beverage and bladder relief...south thru caledonia park...east thru gettysburg for beverages...east to york plant and then get the hell out of my sight as i'll be sick of all you by then....as i continue homeward to amish land.

hey neil: about 2 leisurely hours to my cabin via this route. about 2 hours from cabin back to the plant. this is averaging 40mph....with you or jesse or rick huff leading you could cut the time in 1/2.

I was never that fast to begin with and I'm a lot slower now on a new bike and with last seasons mishap still fresh on my mind.

Today I went for a quick spur of the moment ride and actually saw another Buell. Ok, it was just a Blast but a Buell nonetheless.

I'm from Wesminster, but went on a ride Sunday morning all around Glen Rock, 616, ate lunch at Quaker Steak and Lube (never been!)

Didn't see any other Buells, though. Buddy had a new FZ-07 that he had a blast flicking around. Thing sounds good with a Akro pipe on it!

I only live about a mile from QS&L. Unfortunately on Sunday I was out dirt riding on my KTM. If you plan another trip up this way post it up.

count me in anytime carl. suggested this before as it seemed to be a popular rendezvous point: we meet at front of york H-D plant...travel some nice back roads over thru all the spring towns...then mt. holly springs...then pine grove furnace...back east on rt. 30 thru Gettysburg...then home from there. it's a really great loop.
