Anybody Mount an Air Horn?

I'm thinking I want a louder horn in order to alert the mindless cage drivers of my presence. Anyone have one mounted? Any recommendations? I'd love a train horn (like on my truck), but that might be hard to fit, even behind my Uly fly screen...

no.....but i'm thinking of mounting a "snow-cone maker" on the back of my Ulysses for those hot summer afternoon rides.

Met an old guy a few years back on a Uly and he had modified/trimmed down a Ferrari air horn to fit under his airbox but after he said it had cost him $400 to do it I lost focus of everything else he'd said. Sounded really cool though!

Mine isnt a "air" horn with a compressor. At least not a big compressor. But it is louder then small cars like civics and such. You can see it right behind the front wheel near the ground and under the oil cooler.

Loki, what brand is yours? Source? I'm pretty sure it's what I'm looking for--something louder than your average Geo metro or Vespa horn (which is what mine currently sounds like... Lol).

I think nitto did this with a stebel air horn for relatively cheap

Nitto, that looks like a clean install, but I'm not so sure I want it in that location...

I agree, might be a little annoying, not that it is used a lot or for long periods of time.

Its a motorcycle, they are loud. I had the room and chose to go with his location because it completely hid the all of the horn components. Didn't want a giant horn mounted externally for the would to see.

I'm just thinking if someone who doesn't know about it rides your bike and hits the horn for some reason, you might get some piss on your bike.
