After watching the womens olympic downhill skiing last night I sure do!

I can hardly be enthused about "carving up" some twisties nor can I bring myself to brag about roadrash scars after watchting the LADIES flat tear **** up last night.

Props to the Olympic downhill women for sure!

Did you see how many of them didn't make it??? WOW! The announcers stopped looking at the times and just focused on the achievement of making it down uninjured!

Same with boardercross... I consider myself an expert skier and boarder, but these Olympians are skilled! (or insane)

... Our security guard at the Library won a silver medal running the 4 x 100 meters relay team at the 04 Olympics

I tried an 18 foot halfpipe last week on my snowboard.. I could barely make it to the top and come back down without falling. I can't imagine flying 25 feet above the edge... It was huge and still 4 feet shorter than the olympic size used.. Deff not an easy thing to do! Those guys are super skilled and deserve a lot of credit. Very exciting to watch! The snowboard races are fun to watch too.

Dang the last girl to crash on down hill was huge lol The bigger you are the harder you fall right? :p

Shaun White is just damn insane! no competition.

I've been snowboarding 4-5 times now. My best time is like 45 minutes. lol. Got down in close to 3 hours the first time. It's hard to turn and stop, and getting back up in nearly impossible. So, every time I got speed, I tried to slow and fell...hundreds of times.

I'm kinda aching to go back this season, been too busy. I started riding bikes since, so I'm wondering if getting used to the open speed will make me more comfortable snowboarding.

I know if I EVER tried snowboarding, I wouldn't mind throwing on a motorcross jacket LOL.

ive been snowboarding for 8 years and last year i got the idea of wearing my riding leather lol. i have the icon one with the shoulder pads elbow + forarm pads and a back pad built in, i tell you what it dont hurt falling on jumps anymore lol. + its alot warmer than my snowboarin jacket too
