Nice jump brother!

Looks real close to hitting the muffler

How long did that take you to master?

(I tried to re-post the video but I couldn't get the youtube button to work either)

no i did bottom out. got a nice scrape in my pipe. there are a bunch of spots like that in anchorage.
not very good videos tho. i should make a mash up video.

i just started hitting jumps around town this year.

I have only jumped my bike once and it was basically the same setup, but the other way around in direction at my local Discount Tire.

I came in a bit hot and just tried to ride a wheelie down the hill but ended up flying high[smirk]

Turned around and went in to BS with a buddy at Discount Tire and him and a couple co-workers had seen it and were all talking about how badass of a rider I must be to jump my bike and what not..... And it was an accident:p

I always keep an eye out for hills with a sharp crest when I'm out riding. My favorite it just lifting the front wheel and coming down the backside gracefully, but I'm not opposed to the back wheel coming up too. My favorite are those "speed humps" they started putting in places. They're about the same height as a speed bump but they're about 2-3 feet wide. You can hit them at 40 and bounce your bike and jump off the back side. There's nothing better than something meant to slow you down that you can use to do the exact opposite.

actually my buddy on the gixxer and me have a competition to see who can blow out our fork seals first.

proffesional jump pics to come from a better spot, oh and some of the artwork for those who want to see the detail.

Hi-jack!!!
I took a turn too fast today and instead of low siding I ran it off the road. Through a ditch, over maybe a fallen branch... All I know is, when I walked around the bike after I got back on the road. The rear tire had crushed the license plate (attached to the chopped cheese grater), scuff on the undertray and dented the muffler.

SORRY, Had to through this in somewhere instead of starting a new post.

BTW, rode it out, no crash just a little embarassing.
