Help Support Buellxb Forum:

Thanks. Ill check it out still. But that doesnt explain why it only happens when the bike gets hot. :\ And no money to take to the dealer :(

when you sent power to the primairy, it started again...
did you check your tension after that? if it's back to where it was before the adjustment, i think your tensioner is broken.

please check and report back
[confused]

Lefox, yes i checked it afterward. And update again. It does it cold now to. :\

but was there a change in tension after you rode is? or did it remain the same?

also, what oil are you using? (just to know what is normal sound level)

The sound didnt change and im using AMSOIL.

Talked to the buell guy at a HD shop and he said the sound might be normal with this year of bike and with 10k miles. But the best advice he was able to give was to check my plugs and go back to stock along with check my spark plug box.

your ignition will give a ticking sound, but it should not be that loud.

if your primairy is tensioned correctly and nothing changes, we've eliminated that option.

what was actually done to the bike when you started noticing this issue?

also, set your idle higher...it's too low

My idle is set at the stock 1000rpms (when its running right.

The only thing ive done to it when it started this was change my plugs and i put screamin eagle plugs in it.

ALso i did a TPS reset and it does seem to be running better but i dont think that was the problem. Im just going to put new stock plugs back in it, or whatever plugs you guys recommend.

get the ngk's, reset tps and most importantly run in closed loop for about 10 minutes...without the learn-in (closed loop) this could be the result.

for plugs, either get the standard ones, the pro-series or the ngk's.

let us know what happens...
