I loved boarding back when I lived somewhere I could (Mo don't have many options for it) I visited a buddy up in Maine and boarded all day, that's some fun stuff. I also have a 5150, people in Mo just think it's some weird water ski lookin thing :D

I put my vote in for the flow board. Im riding the infinite from them and love it. I work for a ski/snowboard shop that sells burton, flow, lib tec/gnu and rossi. Flow and lib are by far my 2 favs.

@facemask - what do you like about those in comparison with burton, forum, palmer, ect? I am just curious.

Fourm is owned by burton now. The fourm and burton stuff ride very similar. I like my flow it has lots of pop, more than any other board I have ridden infact. It is very fast edge to edge and the edge hold is very good. The lib skate bannana is a super fun board too, tho a little more terrain park useage for it is better and I dont ride there much any more getting to old. The burton stuff is nice and rides good just prefer the flow. I will post a oic of my set up after work tonight

Yeah i knew forum was owned by Burton, i just didn't know if they rode different. I would love to try a LibTech or Flow sometime, they seem pretty sweet.

I love snowboarding, probably more than I love motorcycles. I just got a k2 Turbo Dream for this year and I love the damn thing. Check out my review of the k2 turbo dream HERE

I also love NeverSummer boards. As well as Gnu/Libtech. My advise would be to demo some boards and pick out what fits you best.

Hey Konarider. I manage a ski resort and ride a board as well as my XB. I ride K2 board with CINCH bindings so I can quickly jump into my board and chase after issues around the hills. My son uses an OPTION with HEAD P3 bindings. Its snowing here now.
Cheers

i hate you fireinxb, i want to ride. as soon as its not warm i want to board. i want to go from the beach one day to the mountain the day after, maybe i should move to lake tahoe.

and thanks for all the suggestions, never summers sound pretty awesome. i think im sold on the proto ct, although ill prob get the ctx for my size 11 feet. sounds like i cant go wrong between either of these. what to do?

ive been dying to ride for weeks. we just got our first foot here in mass... I have the burton custom... and I have to say its a nasty board. BUT its not that good for park... too stiff and a little too edgy

yea my parents live out there and they dont have power right now, where do you ride? wachusett or do you drive north?

Wachusett is ok but tends to get packed quick and not many runs to really chose from so gets repetitive.
Mnt Southington here in CT is about the same size as wachusett and the same type of runs too.
But if I have the time okemo is one of my favs, or attitash.
Hoping to make it to Sunday River this yr.

It needs to start snowing here in MN. Once its cold, we might as well have snow so we can snowboard.

I ride every where, usually have a season pass to loon/ Sunday river/ sugar loaf. cant really afford it this year so im hoping to get at least 20 trips in. and yea wachusette is groomed too often, J-peak is where its at. Best mountain in New England in my opinion.

so i put in an order at my local shop today. they are checking on availability of the NS proto ct. got a great deal on a package price with rome 390 boss bindings and some celsius cirrus boots. basically 20% off retail. hard to say no to that. all my stuff is 5-6 years old so its time for new.

and my friend messaged me about a trip west in early january while i was at the board shop. i took it as a sign that it was all meant to be.

anyone see this yet?

Dude, Art of Flight is amazing. By FAR the best snowboarding movie I have ever seen. I have it, i could try to email it anyone who wants it.

Those guys are amazing, and the filming is spectacular.
