ebay LED Buell tail light

Does anyone know anything about these lights? I realize they're not from XBLights.com but I can't justify $200-$260 for a tail light. I also don't want to spend $40 for a piece of crap. Anyone have these on their bike?

As an eBay Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
It doesn't appear to have integrated signals in it. if that's the case, you may be better off getting the 2010 Buell LED tail light. I thought they were pretty inexpensive...

I actually really like my aftermarket turn signals and plan on keeping them. I guess my main concern was/is if there's anyway to tell if it's actually going to work properly as a running/brake light or if the construction of this thing is just straight up junk. I know extremely little about electrical systems and usually turn to you guys with more knowledge on this stuff.
Thanks dro

IMHO don't waste your money. It's got crap (for automotive lighting) LED's and is most likely not brighter that the regular incandescent bulb that it is replacing. Look for one with decent LED's, like these

I actually bought one of these off this particular seller, it does not have integrated signals and was very poor quality! Even worse customer service!

1. Half the LED's stopped working less then a month after installing it,

2. I emailed the seller but never received a response...

.. so being a licensed auto tech i cleaned the paint off the back of the board found the fault (bad solder joint) and re-installed the light... well 3 weeks later another bank of LED's crapped out, same issue different location. I suspect cheap solder is to blame, and i ended up throwing it in the trash can.

Anyway, stay away... get the EBR if you want a clear unit.
If you just want an insert LED set for safety PM rah7777777 here, or google his company xblights, they have a few different options.

I have the same rear light since about 8 month installed..its still working but some LEDs failed... maybe better/cheaper a LED Bulp....

I have a 2010 led taillight and works awesome and bright as the sun. Last I looked EBR sales them

Go with the buellXBlight. Its as bright as a car brake light or more. I've had mine for almost two years now to.

Last i checked EBR was sold out but ASB had them in stock. Slight mark up if i recall though.

Yes. Use the Philips lumiled superflux LED's. They are what all OEM manufacturers use in OEM car tail lights. THey last forever and they are very bright. Here is what I did on my own. I've been doing custom LED tail lights and HID projector retrofitted headlights for vehicles for years.

Can't even tell its LED tail from the outside
