anyone painted windscreen?

Has anyone paint the factory orange windscreen? I want to paint it black but if u paint just the inside it will still be orangeish. I dont like the idea of painting the outside bcs if it gets scratched up you will see the organe. Im just trying to get a idea on how it would look, i dont want to paint it then it looks like ****. I painted the clear ones before and it turned out nice but idk how the orange would turn out.

I painted the orange one white, It looks pretty good, i had to put several coats on just so you couldn't see the orange anymore. i hated that orange cuz my bike was all black and white!! Paint it, i bet the black will be better than the white.....if your'e usins rattle cans to paint it, buy a clear coat can to help minimize the scratches

k. well ill give it a shot then, good idea on the clear coat didnt think about that. I will post pics up when i do it.

I have a clear one painted red on the outside and then cleared over and it looks well looked great before my crash.

Never had any chipping issues at all, I use to have a clear one I painted the inside silver and it ended up being a pain as I didnt prep it right and I could see all the imperfections so I just ended up painting the outside any way.

I actually sanded down and painted the inside of my orange flyscreen white. It will just change the tint of the orange on the outside.
