Anyone Program/Script?

Just wondering, I'm learning Python right now and was wondering if anyone else on here was into programming, (yea I'm a programming NOOB, but meh w/e). If so, what programming languages are you familiar/proficient with, also, in your opinion how do they compare to one another?

I'm not familiar with Python, but I do pretty well at scripting in PHP, usually with a little bit of javascript thrown in there to keep things interesting. They all have their advantages and disadvantages, just depends on what you are trying to do.

I have experience with VB, VBA, C++, Java, and a few assembly languages.

My best advice, if you run into a problem Google will usually get you the answer.

me and AdHoc are Ruby on Rails developers. I've written a simple compiler in python too.

Learned with C, C++, Java in college.

All my langs:
C, C++, Java, Perl, MATLAB, SQL, Adobe Flash Actionscript, Adobe ColdFusion, HTML, XML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, Ruby, Rails.
