anyone ride with an mx helmet around town?

Any of you guys from the city ever ride around with a dirtbike helmet? I've been thinking lately that one might be nice for riding around town when I'm never getting over 30mph. A little more airflow around my head, less to block my vision, the sun visor, and the helmet would most likely be lighter in general.

Any opinions? How fast do you have to go before one would just be too much to handle?

Yes I do cause the heat index here in Orlando is 105 degrees with intense humidity! The air flow is a blessing.

i used too and i would just take off the visor it woorked good[up]

i will every once and a while if im only staying in town, but i almost always have to jump on the highway to get somewhere

I use the highway to get out of town ofter, and it's 100% avoidable if I want to. If I really need to get somewhere it's usually out of town, but there's a lot of times when I only have 45 minutes or so to go for a ride so it's not even worth trying to get out of town.

How fast can you get going before the wind still start to grab the visor and make it uncomfortable?

I can ride at 65 or so before it becomes too much trouble.
