maybe, if he changed the swing-arm & let it sit outside in a harsh environment for 20 yrs.

He has had the bike maybe a year, year and half at the most. the tanks look real different to me as well. one has a notch and one is straight.

btw those who are looking his bike is on the second page of the thread. He is saying his is the same bike pictured on the first page.

this is his bike (this is what it looks like now)

a few monhts?!?! yea right! only if he decided to let it rot out in snow ice and salt for the few months between. and the "older" pictures swingarm looks stronger to me, why would you swap that out? that and for some reason put the reflectors back on. different angles to the plate bracket as well as different size tags. different shock body etc etc

yeah right... that isnt the same bike notice the tank is different. the nicer one is missing the "dog tooth" right above the air filter.

if it is, he ruined it!

the condition now picture not only has a different swing-arm, it also has a lower tail section, different rear bracket (reflector & license plate), different rider & passenger pegs

also he is full of ****, he said that the first pic has a "oil in swingarm" like the xb's, that swingarm is off of an x1 lightning.

Looks like it could be but he used a filter when he took the good pic. He could have bought it in great shape. also the second pic is much later after the dumb ass has left the bike out sde with no cover in the rain many times. The whole thng is rusting. The bike is ruined. Would need a lot of restoration.

Conclusion: Does it really matter if its the same bike? It is a piece of crap now!

I hate to say any buell is a peice of ****. So let me refraze. The bike has been very neglected. If you were thinking about buying it and restoring the rusted and weatherd parts then just make sure he reduces the price to reflect his neglegence. I want to see all buells restored and on the road. Always keep your bike coverd! If its in a garage put an old dry bed sheet over it. Just make sure your headers are cooled off before you do. Melted plastic can make a mess.:D:D
