Anyone here have a great place to get some things powder coated? Specifically wheels. Most websites don't have color swatches. Is this one of those things that you have to go in and see? I'm located in chandler.

I've always used Glendale powder coat, but they charge 85 per motorcycle wheel, but only 200 for a set of car wheels

I hope so too, I just realized that is 1 week. Well hopefully I get it by the first anyways, I'm sure I can do all my mods I have so far in a day. Handle bars and helmet showed up today, mirrors came yesterday, plastics are coming with the bike. Only thing that could take some time would be getting aluminum stock to mount the spools(one I find out what size to get. Then some various other small mods. Oh yeah, and coping the tail.

1/2" to 5/8" rod would be fine...here's my skate board wheels sliders, used 1/2" threaded rod

the usual meet up is held at Chases Diner at the corner of Warner and Alma School Road in Chandler...6:30 pm, 1st Monday night of every month

I'll try and make it. My DD F4I was actually ran over on Tuesday. It was parked at work and some backed over it in a Silverado. It looked destroyed. Oil and gas everywhere. So I'm on the middle of both insurance companies trying to get some change out of it and put towards the buell.

average...about six, but sometimes more depending on schedules. the meet up we did at Eagleriders test ride of the RX was a pretty good size group and last year at the BMW shop.

Just a little info I have read on using skateboard wheels as sliders, some people say that a skateboard wheel will get too much traction when sliding on asphalt and can actually cause a bike that is sliding to catch and stand back up resulting in a highside cartwheel effect... I have no data or experience with this, just relaying what I have read.
