So of course I would prefer to support any parts supplier that supports our bikes.

What would you say, maybe a pound? pound and a half at most?

I however do not support highway robbery. no way it costs anywhere remotely near that for shipping.

Might as well go to the stealership to get ripped off, from them it is cheaper.

Thoughts?

I have to agree with you. I have dealt with Al before and don't get me wrong he has lots of knowledge about the Buell lines but he seems to have that Badweb mentality that I can not stand.

OMG! That's ridiculous! I've placed a number of orders in the last few months and never was charged anything like that. I just ordered a new belt and the shipping was 11.84 I would call them and place the order over the phone. That can't possibly be right.

Yeah I will probably be going to HD. Sadly, they are pretty much the best option for consumables.

Still looking for a left mirror for my 1125R!
Will NOT be paying the 90 some odd dollars HD wants for that.

Just FYI, the actual shipping cost charged is never as high as the estimate on that page.... They just do that to cover their butt but then only charge you actual shipping amount. I agree though it's a F'd up way to do business.

Snrusnak so your saying the 5 dollar part i want to order that that quote me nearly 15 to ship that's actually not the actual price? I want to know the exact amount I'm paying rather than just saying yea go ahead charge what you want. People order on line to not have to deal with talking to someone or in my case I'm working and can't talk on the phone lol i do all my orders over the Web at work

Al is a stand up guy! I think actual shipping cost is calculated at time of shipping. I have placed many orders with him and never felt ripped off. But most of my OEM parts come from LSHD1 20% off msrp .

Actual shipping is calculated upon shipment, the site just bases shipping off purchase value.

I have ordered hundreds of dollars from them and had shipping fees show up as a couple hundred dollars, but actually only be charged $45.

Headed to Pearl Harbor.

I suppose I will call. I have ordered from them before and don't remember the shipping being anywhere near that high. maybe on the the website it is per item?

lol yep ordered a buckle guard and 1 bolt 25.95 shipping parts were 24.95.the only reason i ordered the guard was to make the 20.00 min order.needed the bolt bad though.i'll give the buckle guard away so i got a killer deal on a 50.00 bolt.:D

i have found that most the places in the US end up advising the delivery charge once hte items are packed and posted. i always find that the delivery quoted is much higher.

they should have something like
"the below delivery is estimate only and final cost will be advised once order ready to send"

That's correct. I agree it sucks not actually knowing what it costs for shipping, but the 3 or 4 times I've bought from them say the shipping said $20 and it actually ended up being $10.

Maybe because I live one state over, in Arizona, but the most I have ever paid for shipping from ASB is less than $13. Most orders have shipped for less than $10. He has quality parts, great service and ships promptly.

I definitely agree. great product. Hopefully i can get this sorted on monday. Just gonna call directly. I like doing things over the phone better anyhow, its more personal.

on a side note, had to call EBR to cancel an order I made by mistake, was handled right there on the phone with the sales manager, kept me on while he made a few clicks on the computer and yelled down to tell them not to ship it.

Number was a bit of a pain to find though.

I'm in another country, called them, couple of emails, and worked out shipping by USPS. Seemed to be reasonable.

Call them. More productive than slagging friends here.
