ASV Unbreakable Clutch Lever. Has anyone tried the short ASV adjustable unbreakable clutch lever on their Buell?
Is the short lever comfortable? I might order one today. [confused]

I don't have the ASV's but I do have the CRG shorties and love them, not only do I think they look better but with the adjustability they are much more comfortable

Ok, i orderd the asv clutch shorty. I am using my stock adjustable break handle. They will be dif in length. I wanted the set but its more then i can afford plus i dont really mind the break handle cause it works great. I am excited. Cant wait to get it.:D:D

Can anyone post a pic of the ASV short clutch handle on their bike. I would like to see it. Is it the lever mounted in the stock assembly? I need pics.

Unfortunately, I only have a close of the front brake lever. Hopefully this helps somewhat, I mean the clutch lever basically looks identical to this.

go short for sure, honestly I cannot feel a difference in the pull effort between the short ASV and the long stock levers.

I got mine from www.supercyclestore.com $170.00

I have the C5 long levers W/raw adjuster knobs, I like the mat black of the C5 vs. the shiny anodized finish of the C3 levers.

there is something about where I can adjust the shorties compared to my old long CRG levers that makes me pull the front tire up. I don't know what it is but I am guessing that its because I can have the lever closer to the bars than before (the long levers would pinch my fingers if too close)
but whatever it is I find myself doing a wheelie more often than before now that I have the shorties on.
again probably due to the friction zone being closer to the bar than before as previously stated.

ymmv

but beware, you were warned

don't get a wheelie ticket! :D
