ICON gear saved my life two years ago on the I-10 in California. The temp was over 103 F that day and I still wore my jacket, helmet, gloves, and boots to work. At 70 something the truck in front of me had a toolbox bounce out and hit my front wheel.

You can do everthing to ride safe and still get in an accident from any other idoit out there. The xb didn't make it but I walked away with a small scar and some internal bleeding.
