I was thinking about installing a automatic primary chain adjuster on my 07 blast. My only question is what primary is our primary based on? Is it twin cam primary, sportster, ect. Here's what I'm looking at and I'm not sure which one to get. I don't mind modifing it some if need be. HB Wedge Hydraulic Automatic Primary Chain Tensioner*

Dont do it. Thats the absolute final answer. It WILL fail and cause damage. Also the chain will flop aroubd causing damage and hit the primary scraping the inside

what jacob said and this gizmo not only completely unnecessary but NOT intended for blast/XB drivelines. a very large V-twin with aggressive cam specs...a 45 degree V angle and a stock crank configuration is known as a 405/315 crankshaft motor. obviously your blast is a single but the criteria behind this gizmo still applies. these super sized V-twins with these specs generate a phenomenal amount of primary chain "whip" or backlash that the engineers at H-D never remotely considered nor even had to contend with. this auto chain tensioner doo-dad designed for these super-sized twins to quell the primary chain problems...in theory anyway. a complete and utter waste of time and resources for any Buell.
