Ok looking for a different wax for my trucks. I have used Wolfgang products, mguires, klaus, and a few others. Looking for a good liquid wax that I can apply with my orbital buffer. I know everyone has their favorites. Not the cheap stuff sold at walmart either. i prefer high end waxs and sealants. So what are they and why do you like it?

I am a big fan of the 3 step kit that mguires sells. Its a cleaner, polisher, and wax all in one kit. Plus if you get the clay bar and use that before all of it, the car turns out looking outstanding. I have recently gotten a high speed buffer that i use 3M polish on, but i still use the mguires wax.

I stopped using wax when I found out it only protects for ~1 month. I started using a sealer every 6 months(that's about how often I wash my truck). I use opti seal (I think that's what it's called). It's extremely easy to apply too.

I to am a big fan of sealants! In the past I have applied a wax over the sealant.

yeah I got a lot of help from guys on ramforumz and from what I can tell the wax is more for a nice shine. I don't really care about that, so I use the sealant just to protect. All depends what you're after.

Mothers 4 step process for me

1. Wash with a quality car soap, NOT dish detergent

2. Clay bar

3. Sealant

4. Pure carnuba wax

Takes me the better part of an afternoon with an orbital buffer
