So this mourning i touched down at Ft. Dix in NJ. Going through medical stuff and so on now, be home on Saturday. So happy to have made it back from this one. Many of the older senior NCOs called it the tour from hell because the BS we got from the BCT we fell under. Anyways after much heartache and hardwork I'm safely back in the US. I did lose one of the guys i went to Basic with in Feb to a IED. He served in a different company from me. Everyone from my company made it so. Its amazing how after a year even a simple thing as a american beef hot dog tastes so great. Cant for beer again. Just wanted to let everyone know i'm safely back from Afghanistan.

Good to hear you're home safely. Thanks again, for what you and every armed service personnel has done for the rest of us. Welcome back!

Welcome back!!! Glad you're back safe! Thanks for your service! Now get on that American bike that you deserve (and stay safe)!! [up]

50dro I have had a 08 SCG since Nov 09 and yet its not passed 1600miles been gone/winter and I'm going to picking up Pyrats 09 Bolt so I'll have 2 american bikes[up] Lets see how long before the wife asks me to sell one.

03Firebolt9R I hope your daughter comes home safely. I know my mom barely slept while I was gone, and my wife has her share of problems ith my being gone. I just hope my kids when i have them wont have to see war the way I've seen it.

Nice!! You deserve it! Did you receive your sliders OK?

Thanks ArmyMP09. It is a lot different when it is one of your children compared to just yourself. Enjoy the family, food and beer!

50dro havent been home yet. i will see them saturday, on the bike by monday the 2nd, very excited to see them. Thanks everyone I'd rather go to war then let someone else take my place. Its a job someone must do, and I do it willingly and with pride so. I'm just wondering how long it'llbe before i go back. I'm hoping 2 years, but at the rate we're going, maybe a year at most these days.

First off welcome back!

Enjoy everything as you have mentioned but stay safe, lost way to many guys when I was in Iraq. Then when we got home had 3 guys die within 3 months from drinking and driving and one to suicide. [sad]

Again glad you made it back whole not holy [up]

welcome back and thank you. 95% of my friends are currently serving in either afgan iraq or unknowns. several are from fort dix area (i've flown out of mcquire several times). if youre in the southeast pa area lemme know down for a ride or a beer or whatever.

Welcome back, that flight home is literally and figuratively the longest flight I've ever experienced. Glad to see you made it home safely.
