My Mom was in a bad motorcycle accident 2 nights ago. This has been my first chance to get at a computer.

She is in a coma and has a breathing tube inserted. My family and I made the trip from Boise, ID to Buena Park, CA yesterday to see her. She has multiple fractures in her face and 2 broken wrists. She is not responding very well to the neurological tests very well and signs don't look good.

I don't know if any of you pray and if you don't it's ok I'm not asking you too. Could you at least keep her in your thoughts and hope she makes a full recovery. At this point I don't know how the hospital bills will be covered but that's something we'll worry about when the time comes. For those of you that do pray could you please keep her in your thought's and prayers in hopes that GOD will bring her back safely.

Hope she recovers soon and well. Thinking positive is very important. Everything will work out. Good luck and she will be in my thoughts.

Hoping she pull through, I have see a few people close to me make it threw much worse. A friend of mines 16 year old son was in a bad car accident and coded twice in the life flight helicopter ride with head trauma. He was not supposed to live threw the night and a year later you can not tell except for at little problem with his speech.

Sorry to hear this! I hope you and your family the best and will keep you all in my prayers and thoughts!!

Thank you guys for all the support. When I was looking for a little support outside of everyone who already knows I knew this was the right place to come. Riding is not only a joy but a brotherhood.

Update:

Both pupils are dialated fixed, one at a 2 and one at a 5. She is not responding to any light or movement. Her axons and dendrites in her nervous system are not reacting with one another which the doctor said once the swelling in her brain subsides they may re-network themselves but is very unlikely.

Thanks again for you guys support and I will try to check back often to be uplifted.

Man I am so sorry to hear about this. I couldn't imagine the pain of seeing my mother in that condition. She and your family will be in my prayers.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the [same] comfort we ourselves have received from God. - 2 Cor. 1:3,4
