Man we have a big one heading straight for Cairns.Have been getting our property as ready as possible.wind speed 220-260kmh.with huge tidal surge.lucky I live on high ground and wont get flooded.Im a bit woried about a few trees close to the house and shed,I have 6 cars and 6 bikes,not all are goers,but they mean alot to me.Anyway should hit about midnight wednesday.Wish us luck. www.bom.gov.au

texas isnt nice today its 3* with 35 mph winds -23* had quite a few gusts over 65 mph blowing snow

global climate disruption is cyclical

when I was a kid in the 70's it was 'another ice age is coming', then in the 80's its 'greenhouse gases are rising!!'

then Mr Carbon footprint bigger then 100 of us Al Gore makes tons of $$$$ and feeds the hype train that now its global warming....

last year the White House re-labled it 'global climate disruption'...

anything to make a buck I guess
i.e.
(phasing out candesence lightbulbs in favour CFL's which contain enough mercury to poison 6,000 gallons of water and yet they have no real disposal or recycling plan in place..)
