so everything is fine with my bike one day then i come out to start it the next and it just clicks when i tried to start it. i take the battery to autozone and they charge it and test it and said its good. so i hooked it all back up and went on a 20 min ride and the bike ran fine i get back and shut it off and try to start it again and it just clicks. took the battery to a diffrent store and they charge it then test it and say its good so i guessing its my bike, what could cause it to drain that fast.. i hate eletrical issues :(

I had the same exact problem when it got cold outside, I took it to autozone and had them do the long ass deep cycle charge, the longest charge they do, and after that it was fine.

so i took the battery back to autozone and they tested it again and you could hear the acid boil and smell the rotten eggs:) funny thing is there tester said it was good they replaced it with a new one:)

you got to many batteries with differences in quality too.

for one, the stock battery is the most expensive one, but also the best...unless you have really bad luck or don't maintain it, it will last you atleast 4 years.

another good one for less $$$, is a yuasa batttery...

Every battery kill I've ever had was b/c of some sort of short.
Havin' an '03 XB9S, there were still some wire routing issues that hadn't been sorted out.
So, my bike is prone to chafed wires.
If you've had your bike a while and yer killin' a battery,
take a look @ the wires under you seat.
Also double check the battery connections @ the terminal as well.

Robt a.k.a. "Special K"

The same thing was happening to mine (04XB12R) - the dealership ended up putting a new stator in it (under warrantee, luckily).
