This is my first belt drive...
It seems that the idler pulley is not straight by design. The idler pulley direct the belt to stay on the rear pulley. I know this because if you align the idler exaclty with the front pulley the belt is alowed to wander away from the inner edge of the rear pulley.
This is great until you push the bike backwards. The belt is fed toward the outside edge of the front pulley. This causes the teeth on the outside of the belt to wear quickly.
My aftermarket front pulley has a sharp outer edge that I made smooth. WHat is te stocker like? is the lip rounded so the belt is not damaged?
