Best touring bike?

Depends on Riding Style... Are you sport Touring, or Just out for Comfort... Is some Off Road Riding an idea...

I have a couple of bikes...Depends on what day and what is purpose of the ride...
Buell Ulysses, Buell Firebolt, Kawasaki Concour 1400, Kawasaki KLR650, Ducati Diavel for cruising, Ducati 1098R,
Best all round Bike's...
The ones I ride the most... Every Transportation and quite a few long rides is the Buell Ulysses, Straight up Long Distance is the Concour 1400, Long distance with Off Roading-Alaska Bike =KLR650, Bar hopping = Diavel, Track Days, Wheelies, or just plain hooligan riding, either the FireBolt or the 1098R...

HD Road Glide - the fixed fairing is great.

I bought one this summer. I haven't really had it on the highway for more than an hour, and I can tell you I need a windscreen that's about 6 inches taller.


Last summer I borrowed an Ultra Classic for two weeks. It was a 4000 mile trip and very comfortable. After 600 mile days I never felt sore or tired of riding.
