Haha, this is where I live; it was a pretty big buzz in the cycling community 'round here!

I love a good bicycle thread, no matter how stale. I'm so old-school I still ride a hard tail, and consider beer to be for 'hydration'! :D

I used to be all about hardtails...then I bought a full suspension and its amazing. I still like my hardtail for screwing around having fun though.

And as far as beer and bikes go this is perfect for downtown transportation.

Hardtails are great for turning Blue trails into Black Diamonds! :p

My other pride and joy, besides the Uly:

It is a great Aluminum 29" MTB for a 200lb 5'7" rider. Like riding a Uly it has a plush full suspension and is really tall.
I bought a road bike once in 2002 at a garage sale for $50, Trek 560, and I have ridden it in several HHH's, as well as MS 150's, and raced it a couple of times. It is still going strong with all original components except I replaced the rear wheel because while it was on a car rack someone backed into a mailbox and taco'ed it.

I bought a new road bike this past summer. Cannondale Bad Boy. I love it. The single sided front "Lefty" fork is trippy. And my older mountain bike. GT Avalanche 2.0 nothing fancy but I like it as well.

Love the single-sided fork on those Cannondales. Also like GT's unique triangulated frames. Two bikes you can always spot from a distance!

I have been riding mountain bikes since before we could buy mountain bikes.
Currently I ride a Pivot Firebird......by far the best bike I ever through my leg over.

My first mod for my new Ulysses is to add a rack to carry the bird. If anyone has pics of how they carry there bikes on there bikes....post up please....

I want a down hill bike so bad. I just have to make due with my DJ which is very fun.
