:)Getting a new left over 2010 Kawasaki zx10r in Black sparkle.
Little more than i had planned to spend but it's new there uncrating it in the Am for me to pick it up at noon.
I loved my 1125r and if last year i would never thought i would be parting with it.
but this summer been super irritating with 2 stators and a Drive belt even after i paid out of pocket for a better r/r and a stator rewind just before i got it out of storage.

cyclenation in Canton Georgia is hooking me up with a smoking deal.
i have a buy order even though i haven't seen the bike :D
So wish me luck and i will get some pics and post an update tomorrow

Why not wait until the new affordable EBR's are on the market and get one of those ?
several reasons i ride 10,000+ miles a year and the nearest dealer still servicing buells are just to far apart. especially in Asheville the nearest one is 100 miles away and i plan to move here in the next year.

who knows how long it is going to take to get a strong dealer network and is the stator issue really fixed in the rotax(apprillas have issues as well just not quite as often as us).

Aftermarket and replacement parts are every where and way more affordable for all the main line bikes.

is the 1125 market going to go up or continue to drop about 500/ 6 months?

I paid 7200 otd and only non wear items i am losing is race ecm and barker slip on. so it only cost me 1k per year or 10,000 miles i can live with that lose much more i would just have to keep it.

The #1 Reason(drum roll)

I never have to take a bike to HD for SERVICE!!!!!!!!
Every time I took my bike in there was something damaged or missing.

Very true. I have heard though that some not harley dealers are looking at picking up the EBR brand once they release affordable bikes. Well good luck with the new bike.

You'll love your Ninja ZX10. I've been riding an 07 Monster Energy Edition for the last month and love it. So smooth and fast, no lack of power anywhere.

I just bought an 05 ZX12R with 5700 miles on it last week. Power Commander III and Mussy slip on. Freakin thing is scary fast. A little tall for me (5'7 1/2") so am going to drop it 1.5" and it weighs more than the 10R but I like it, not as much as the 10 but it's mint.

Also, that wicked looking vato loco to your right is dressed all wrong. His undershirt needs to be a wife beater, he needs to have on chinos, and his sunglasses need to be black wraparounds. The top-button-only shirt is a nice try, though.

Well congrats Rob always great to get a new toy.I do love my ZX-10 If I had to complain about it,The 2005s had a bad head shake, dampener helps alot but still there when decelerating a little , 1st gear redlines at 105mph stock gearing so your breaking a few laws before you shift in to second. As for my Super Awesome Cr 1125 Power is on at any speed zero to what ever!!!:D Congrats again!

That zx-10's frame sorta looks like a Buell frame in my opinion, too bad it's just a standard frame, can't wait to see some pics but what made you choose a Kawasaki over Yamaha, Suzuki or Honda, or even a triumph would be killer!

Not trying to kick a dead horse or anything but if you're switching bikes because you had to replace some mechanical stuff then you may be still dissapointes with where you're going. I DO AGREE ITS DIFFICULT FINDING PARTS SOMETIMES AND WILL BE EASIER WITH A KAWI AND WITH A DEALERSHIP IN YOUR AREA. let me get that out of the way since i won't get yelled at now. However my opinion of any motorcycle ......**** breaks. A lot. And if something isn't broken you will need new tires. Or want something to
make it look cooler. They're all just money pits.

Just my take. Since you said you had a run of bad luck with yours and thats a bummer. I had a friend just replace his clutch on a 2009 r1. Less than 5000 miles. And another friend replace his stator and regulator rectifier on a 2007 gsxr 750. **** breaks on em, fork seals go out for practically no reason whatsoever.

Kawi will probably be the same way. Just my two cents

I do think they make some slick looking bikes though
