Bike of the month competition.....

I'm in. In our local bike forum we start submissions last 2nd to last week of the month for 7 days, last week of the month is voting and the first of the month they announce winner. The bike of the month then gets a full month to gloat about winning. No more entires of that bike for a year. I organized a calender one year, since I am in the printing industry. We had each BOTM from the previous year for the calender. No money was made we barely broke even but it was fun.

Okay so here it is I got the email setup I'm going to pm a couple of people to see if they'd be interested in helping judge. I'd like to keep the judges anonomis so noone can get any negative back lash.

Okay so I got a couple of people that have agreed to be judges they will remain anonymous and I'm working on the rule just trying to iron everything out. Will keep everyone updated.

So doing this could help with the calendars for each year to so xtremelow won't have to ask for pics for the next year. If he's still into doing them

My opinion: being bike of the month has nothing to do with artistic photography, just mods right? Calendar photos were not necessarily picked because of modifications but because variety in picture. Some of the bikes were stock and they looked amazing.

So I'm down for the bike of the month.

Not down for them automatically being calendar entries. I don't think it's fair to people who have great photos but don't have money to modify the hell out of them. (ex: my brother thinks his bike is perfect near stock)

It's not going to be just bike and mods the better the picture the better your chances are. It could be a bone stock bike or it could be xtremelow's bike. Everything will be taken into account. I think the judges I have lined up will be more then fair with everything. Plus I'm waiting to see if DAVE_XB12R is still willing to even go that route because the CALENDAR is his thing.

Here's the Bike of the Month competition rules:


-only Buell's and EBR bikes are eligible
- You MUST be a MEMBER to win
- all entries and nominations MUST be sent to [email protected] (to prevent multiple threads)
- Nominations must include the name of the member being nominated and a photo
- You may only nominate one other member per month
- You MUST have at least 20 posts to be nominated or to enter
- You CAN nominate yourself.
- You can only win once in a 24-month period *
- Nominations will be accepted from the 5th to the 15th of each month
- if a judge enters or is entered he can't vote that month.
- please include a list of modifications if any.

Hope everyone helps make this work and please don't everyone send there bike the first month which will be April. For the first month and only the first month you Can start sending your entries March 25th.
