The other people who have front exit can's have never said anything about their chin fairings melting
how is the front mounted? It looks like you can't use the original clamp.
Now when doing Dave's can, I planned on making my own front mount, which his has, but it's been a hassle to get it perfect.
Only way to alleviate this BUT also still keep the chin fairing intact (no hole cutting), I'll be moving the outlet forward about an inch, and rotate it downwards to clear the chin fairing. This way the stock front mount is still retained.
because its a huge pain in the ass to look up and check each post for the date and time without even a user name to reference I just used the Quote tool

That's because the mount is built into the front of the can on mine. No need for a strap.
I was on my phone and too lazy!
But the outlet can also be set back BEHIND the strap, that's all up to the customer.
do you have any restriction to moving it in front of the strap?
I know Ill need to cut my chin fairing but I like the placement of Nitto's outlet
