Wonder how the heat will treat the faring. Just love your work though dude! Curious to see how the power turns out.

The other people who have front exit can's have never said anything about their chin fairings melting

I've had mine on for a year now, no worries bro[smirk][up]

kinda hard to see in this pic but mine is a little farther back that bajabombers

Is there any advantage to having a front exit exhaust? I know it looks different and I'm sure power is probably close to or on par with all the hundreds of pipe mods out there, but is that about it?

Yes, cosmetic, no stanky left leg either, let me add, to an extent, any exhaust is going to blow all around you, more so the front exit but you'll be moving as the gases flow back into you so they'll be dissipated.

because its a huge pain in the ass to look up and check each post for the date and time without even a user name to reference I just used the Quote tool

Now when doing Dave's can, I planned on making my own front mount, which his has, but it's been a hassle to get it perfect.

Only way to alleviate this BUT also still keep the chin fairing intact (no hole cutting), I'll be moving the outlet forward about an inch, and rotate it downwards to clear the chin fairing. This way the stock front mount is still retained.

:D

and in Big B's defense I don't see a front strap on Dave's bike either
but I do see one on Nitto's and richP99's

I was on my phone and too lazy! :p

But the outlet can also be set back BEHIND the strap, that's all up to the customer.

That's because the mount is built into the front of the can on mine. No need for a strap.

ah ha! sweet [up]

its all good bro' :D

do you have any restriction to moving it in front of the strap?
I know Ill need to cut my chin fairing but I like the placement of Nitto's outlet
I am thinking about something quieter than my D&D right now but the video is gone (maybe just my computer?) Dave can you post another video of it?

sounds good :D[up]

that mount is sweet

i wish my welds looked that clean also

baja you sure can fabricate

I like the saound! thanks Dave I had been looking at the post every day to hear the outcome. Gotta say.. I love it so far. Now hows the performance. ??

No restriction at all, I can place the outlet wherever you want.
