OK, it's been almost a year, and I thought I'd drag this topic out again. I have a dr. appointment tomorrow out of town and I'd like to ride down there. I haven't taken many out of town rides and I wanted to post a video to show the amount of travel I have to make sure it's not a concern. Thanks again for all your input, it helps me sleep better after finding all these little issues on my bike.

NOOOOO! It is not. Why not install a bolt? And also i suspect you may have another tie-bar mount bad either at back of engine under air box or right foot peg near starter.

Remember your rear suspension is connected to the engine, any flex between the engine and frame means stability issues. I had a bolt break for the front sub frame and sent me into a death wobble tank slap twice and lucky I recovered twice.
