Anyone ever crash test the stick on buell frame slider? Just wondering if they would really stay stck in a high speed low-side? Just got my 05 12r last night and it's so purty i dont wanna mess it up. :D

If you are talking about the stock Buell frame pucks they are definately worth it just for drive-way/garage fall overs or slow drop protection. Dents or gouges in the frame can "total" a Buell in some cases.

I agree with Bossanova, but you mentioned high speed low sides. They certainly would help but I would argue that there is a limit to everything at "high speed." No crash protection is a save all for sure but every little bit helps. I rock the pucks on mine in addition to axle sliders (of course ;) ). [up]

It has the pucks on it and I added the swingarm spool/sliders from ASB. Naturally nothing is 100% fail-safe, just wondering if anyone has actually tested them.

it all has to do with the prep when you but your puck on
i bounced my cg at about 45-35mph when a finally fell off and the puck did it's job.

but a have a buddy who bounced his between two cars and the first bounce the puck stayed on the second one it came off

They help but when I crashed my xb9 at 65-70ish the road tore it to pieces.

After clean up, dented and a small gauge in the frame from the abrasive road

thanks squidbuellie & njdevils for posting up. I guess the best thing is not to crash. Just for reference these things also don't fare well vs. a fire hydrant at all.
