Was just browsing around on the Kawasakiworld.com forum doing some research on my new bike. Either the ZX12 or the ZX14. Either way there was a topic where a guy in europe got blown away by a camaro ss on the highway while he was riding his ZX12. Of course it was followed by a lot of trash talking from him fellow forum members. One of them asked him if he was sure it wasn't "simply a buell in disguise". Got a little kick out of that. I know there are other suck Erik's groin thread but I just love how everyone is so fully aware that when EBR goes full throttle they need to start puckering the ol O-ring.[up]

"Buell in disguise"
LOL
[up]

Same goes on Suzuki forums, btw. I also ride a Bandit.
;)
Not always about speed, either--there are several threads there devoted to converting "modern" Japanese-make headlamps into "Buell duals."

To me it looks like another jab. Unless the SS was way modded a ZX12 or 14 should have no issues being faster than the Chevy.

Alfa, the SS was modded. the guy stopped and talked to the driver and was informed of the list of mods. I wouldn't expect it to be a false tale, a brit admitting defeat to an american muscle car on his home turf while riding a bike. . .

I thought so too till I read the "Readers Fire Back" section in Sport Rider magazine. 2 Letters written in, both BLASTING the mag for writing an Erik Buell article "...All he ever made was junk. Harley let it go on far too long. Erik Buell is an ass..."

Actually it really pissed me off that Sport Rider would print them without at least commenting on the ingenuity behind Buells or somehow defending thier E.B. article. [mad]
