not a mustang, but technically a "fox body" so i figured i'd share. This one was my 2nd car i ever owned. i just got rid of it a year ago and to be honest, i'd trade my A6 back for it in top running order in a hear beat.
1988 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe:
I had magnaflow high flow cats
Magnaflow turbo mufflers
accufab fuel PSi regulator
ranger cam
wahlbro 155 fuel pump
.373 gears
hurst short throw
ACT stage II clutch
and some super sticky Dunlop FM901s on it
This thing wasnt the fast car in the world, but it handled like it was on rails and i had it up to 160mph a few times. It would roast hondas coming home from work and got 30mpg on the highway. For a big full size car with the same engine as a Ford Pinto, this car was bad ass.
not to mention it was probably the best sounding 4cyl i had ever heard, and i'll probably hear nothing quite like it ever again
