Buell XB12R Pricing

I have been thinking of selling my XB12R, but not quite sure of a fair asking price and wanted some opinions.

2004 XB12R Firebolt
Race exhaust
Race ECM
Upgraded headlights to HID
Rebreather
New spare front tire
Manual
13k Miles
New fat grips

Good shape, ding in exhaust manifold from when my friend (previous owner) changed it out. Does nothing for performance.

I see on Nada website around $3600-$3700, but I was thinking with the extras I have (Race, ecm and exhaust) I could get closer to $4000.

Does this sound right?

Yes that sounds about right if you found the right person. My guess is that it will probably sell around 3700

last year i bought a bone stock one with about 6,000 miles on it, I ended up paying 3850, so i think right around 4,000 is a good price.

Thanks for the replies, it is about impossible to do research on these bikes. In Dayton, Ohio there are none in the whole tri-state to compare and barely any on cycletrader.com and ebay that are similar to mine.

hahaha well im kind of close in illinois and bought mine for 3850 like I said. I thought looking around here was hard and im even close to chicago lol

I just found a 2004 XB12R for sale in my local craigslist ads listed for $3K. Same setup as yours and only has 5,500 miles and looks to be in pristine condition. It all depends on what they are selling for in your area, but ya, I would think you could get more for it than 3K.

I think the problem is people selling them way too cheaply. A well setup one, like yours appears to be, should get $4000.

Where do you live?? Id be all over that bike in a minute. You could easily make a grand reselling that.
