Full disclosure... Reason for the low price: the Check Engine light comes on intermittently at higher RMP at freeway speeds. When it's off, the bike seems like it occasionally misses at mid RPM, but runs really strong and as normal at full throttle.
Despite the fact that I've replaced both the Engine Temperature Sensor (ETS - on rear cylinder head) and the Intake Air Temperature Sensor (IATS), the ECM is throwing the following related error codes: 1-4 ETS and 1-5 IATS. No other trouble codes are evident. I've also reset the Throttle Position Sensor.
Battery voltage runs 14.45 at 2,500 RPM. I've installed an auxiliary, heavy-gauge grounding wire between the engine and the negative battery terminal as well as having cleaned all the ground connections I can find (steering head, rear frame, etc.). Wiggling the wire bundles entering the ECM doesn't have any effect. I suspect there may be other grounding issues.
If you're experienced with Buells, maybe you'll do better than me at finding and fixing these little gremlins. If you can, you'll have a really nice machine.
