CARBON FRAME PUCKS

I am after a pair of carbon fibre frame pucks which
will fit over the existing ones on my XB12Ss 2008
model.I have looked on various web sites,and they
have either not got them,or they are not suitable
for the Lightning Long.Can anyone help,as I would
like these to compliment my other carbon fibre pieces.

I dont see why they wouldnt work on a Ss? As far as I know the pucks are the same. I have the stock pucks on my Ss and I believe they were for all models.

Buell.com Puck Pt# 93001-03YA: "Fits '03-later XB models (except '06-later XB12Ss, XB12X, XB12XT and XB12STT models). Stock on '08 XB12R models. Sold in pairs."

Buell.com Puck Pt# 93004-05YA: "Fits '06-'07 XB12Ss and XB12X models. Stock on '08-later XB12X, XB12XT and XB12Ss models. Sold in pairs."

There's apparently a difference, though I couldn't tell you what it is, between the S & R Lightning pucks and the SS pucks according to the Buell site. So unless someone knows for certain, I wouldn't blow the money on S or R fiber cover pucks that more than likely aren't going to fit your SS. In my humble opinion.

There is a difference for sure. I had to return the ones the dealer ordered for me (05YA) and order the O3YA's online. The shape is very different. My bike is a 2003 XB9S.

Although this sooms to be the closest thing to CF puck covers they have. I'd recommend calling Al, and asking him if there is any thing in the pipeline...

[sad]I contacted Al who says he intends to make some for the "larger models",but this may take a few months,so I suppose I will just have to be patient
if nothing else comes up in the meantime.
