The stainless steel air filter is right on the back side of the catch can for clean and nice look, The catch can has baffle for vent hole to prevent moisture goes out, so no need to route air filter up.Looks nice... Looks just like my ASB catch can. Are you attaching a air filter to the top as well?
So why does my xb9r emit no oil through the PCV system. ? I am not saying people don't have oil going through the PCV, but it is because of some thing wearing out. Or the PCV valves are not working. I couldn't see harley making a engine in the 2000s that would need to drain off it's blow by. I could be wrong these are still primitive engine designs
This is true, I just put the mod recently and came to the same conclusion. Every week there is only a drop of water under the tap and I attributed it to the fact my top end rebuild only has a few miles on it. A nice way to get a feel for engine health and a good mod thanks.because your motor is in "good shape" including the internal sealing components(cylinder walls/piston ring lands/piston skirts/piston rings)and breather system doing its job. see cole's remark.
