caught between a 08 1125r and a 09 1125cr

ok so iv been looking at 2 bikes a 08 1125r with 1800 miles that comes with a extra set of brand new factory tires for $5900 and also been looking at a 2009 cr with 510miles for $6125 i really like them both. what are some of the pros and cons of each bike. do the different fuel injectors in the 09 really make that big of a difference? basically this bike will be my daily driver for 6-8months of the year and will see a decent amount of highway driving and im just trying to figure out which would be better for that?

The fuel injectors haven't been a issue that I am aware of. The 09 will probably have a stator issue but that can be resolved. I personally am not a big fan of the color combo of the 08, but that's just my opinion. The CR will have no wind protection but that u can just get used to. The R has a little more top end and the CR has a little more bottom end torque. It's all really just personal option and what you plan on doing with the bike. They both are addictive to mod and ride! They are similar enough that it doesn't matter.

As the owner of both...... the 09 will have the charging issue eventually. I changed mine to an 08 setup - no issues.

The 09 motor "feels" a little crisper than the 08.

Both will have a clutch leak, change to the EBR setup.
