I think it supposed to rest on top of the swing arm to keep the chain off of it. Did it come with adhesive or anything?

No it didn't. On top of the lower portion of the swing arm?

That would be my guess. It seems to be the only place that makes sense. Might just call EBR and see what they suggest you adhere it with?

I figured out where it goes, it doesn't look good on the bike though.

I thought it might look a little peculiar, but my alternative is a $200 part replacement.

Well we trashed the threads on the output shaft, so it'll be a while...

Hello Richard,

We use a chain rub, but our kit utilizes the '06 and newer die cast version of the XB swingarm which is quite different than '03-'05 gravity cast swingarm. The geometry is such that our chain rub will not fit the older swingarm.
