check engine light while in neutral????

hows it going everyone. I have a 2006 12r and I was sitting at a light in neutral the other day and my check engine light came on. soon as I put it in gear it went away. Not thinking anything of it cause it hasnt done it before, I continued to drive it and now I notice that it is happening more frequently. It dosnt come on till I put her in neutral, and soon as I go to first gear its gone. So some advice would be much appreciated!! thank you.
