Seen some tail sections available that replace the extendo-cheese-grater,
which seem a lot easier to contend with then chopping it myself. Any
references? Thanx!
 
you can buy the dieselmoto piece from ASB as well with a less glossy paint and the lines contoured better. both around same price. the guy who runs ASB redoes them to better blend with buell parts on the bike.

I never knew that. Thanks for the info. Last thing I want is a tail that is a different finish than the bike

Hi,
I marked with a pen how I wanted it to look and then cut it out with a grinder.. Then shaped it with wet and dry sand paper to get it smooth and looking perfect.. Hope this helps..
