To all you Buell newbies Chicago just gave some great advice. Advice that he never seemed to listen to himself.
Do your research so you don't make a fool of yourself posting something that is common knowledge or post something that has been discussed a thousand times.
And he's spot on. This place is NOT a social media Mecca of useless knowledge and knee slapper jokes.
This is a Buell forum.
Some cats get a little out of hand but they have the time in grade and the knowledge that grants them such privileges.
At least you live in infamy.
A whole thread dedicated to the city that is not the capital of Illinois.

Chicago, first off, I never had a problem with sending you the reflectors for free. That's why I didn't mention the price. Also I didn't say you didn't give me your information, just that you didn't give your full name. Of course if your last name truly is just one letter, I am misstaken.

And for the record, I liked your posts. You asked questions that others wouldn't. You started some good conversations and really contributed to the activity of the site. That's why I started this thread, I was worried about you. Lets face it, when a fellow bikers stops posting, it's easy to assume the worst.

No need for a PM, we can settle this here. All I want for Christmas is for people to be able to post whatever they want. I come here for entertainment and information. On my mind we need a non motorcycle General discussion section. If you come here just for Buells, don't open that section. Every forum I have been on has accepted off topic threads, it generates more traffic to the site. But this site, and the Facebook page are very against it for some reason.

That being said, This forum has a great wealth of info, IF YOU ARE WILLING TO PUT IN THE TIME TO SEARCH FOR IT. If someone gives you advice from first hand experience and you refuse to accept that logic and substitute your own, let the flaming begin. If someone jumps in with bad info or bogus directions, there is enough of knowledgeable members here to bring justice and instill a need of caution.
