Hey all,

I had to replace my chin fairing bracket, i bought one from hd and it didnt come with new inserts for attaching the front fairing/wind screen. I couldnt remove mine from the old one without modifying(cutting) them out and they wont go into the new piece properly. Would anybody have a possible solution or has anyone else ran into this problem?
any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Nutserts ..... They are kinda like rivets.... Slide them In the hole and use a long bolt with a nut to draw it tight and wala. The buell has these all over it if you look..... especially in the frame.....

I built rock sliders for my jeep and attached them to the body with this..... 1/4-20 I forget how many per side and it held up beautifully........ Here's proof.....

How about trying to help the guy instead being a useless ********? And i do mean that with all due respect. :)

Lol probably me ... Because I definitely didn't have any idea about what he was even asking ... I was waiting for a reply from people asking for clarification ... Hahaha :D[up]

Im talking about the 2 bolts that hold the " front cowling faring" on to the front fairing support bracket.
sorry if my terminology was wrong, no need to bust my balls over it. thanks

Still not 100% sure what exactly you're talking about. Pictures FTW.
If you are talking about the chin faring, it bolts on with 1/4" 20's.
If you are talking about the two pieces that make up the chin fairing, then go with what Greasy said and use nutserts.
When you say "front fairing/windscreen" everyone will automatically assume you are talking about, well, the front fairing because its a Firebolt, or, the windscreen.
Welcome to the forum

Oh this forum isn't full of people that bust your balls over stupid crap ... We just poke lots of fun ...
