nice video dave but it says you are going to start with the brake but then your working on the clutch lever first.

I did that to make sure you're paying attention. :D

I got the firedragonbros levers. My experience:

- "red" adjuster tab is pinker than red
- I didn't drill out the part on the lever. I cut off the black plastic piece (didn't think to drill it out)
- Tape is a great idea! I got a couple of extra scrapes on my levers
- A regular hand file worked much better than the dremel
- I went a little heavy with the grinding and the brake lever is pretty damn close to the bar. At "1", the lever is usable. At "6", it's practically on the bar

my wife bought me these for christmas and i put them on today. mine went on with no modification just had to break the plastic peice off the clutch cable and i didnt file the brake side down at all and it works fine brake doesnt rub at all

Unless you bought the buell specific levers, you NEED to modify the brake lever. I know it doesn't rub, but it could lock up on you.

no i got the gixxer ones. i havent riden it yet but i rolled it around and it didnt rub at all. when i get a chance ill probley file it down just to be safe
