well I was out at a friends helping him out and had parked BamBam in my usual spot with a little piece for under his kickstand....

couple hours pass and I am walking across the property and notice my helmut on the ground, knowing there are several 'worker bees' doing various tasks I figured one was admiring BamBam....

BUT something was off aboot the way he was leaning and as I got closer I I notice the right peg is SNAPPED OFF then the clutch lever is too!!, marks on the frame puck, bent shift lever, snapped mirror....******* kickstand is even bent and is no longer able to be used.....WTF??? [confused]

Apparently BamBam fell over and one of the workers picked him up and was told by my friend that he better go tell Buddha......he did not (he is still alive...)

**** am I choked...

looking for a clutch lever, ideas (am aware of swapping out L pass peg), but being long in the inseam the 1" drop was choice...

****!

****** to hear Buddha. Some Suzuki levers will fit our bikes. Pazzo's look really good as well....:D

Oh, yeah.... check out Buellsterparts.com as well. They've got a pretty good selection of used parts.

I hear ya man, just looking at the thread for GSXR levers, being as it seems we are all tight with cash this will be done as cheaply as possible..
[sad]

How did it fall, kickstand sink into pavement, wind, a worker messing with it, kickstand randomly breaking?

seems like someone may have sat on him, put the kickstand back down, (not knowing how it sits a certain way) and BamBam did a slow drop with someone trying to catch it...cause if it had just failed and toppled over the damage would have been more severe..
I am very anal retentive aboot BamBam, you know the type, give him a once over before & after every ride.... so when I park him I make sure he is secure where he sits.

replaced the right side peg with the left passsenger one, that took as long as it did to walk to the shed and take it off the passenger stanchon or whatever its called.

Have an extra barend mirror so thats no biggie, glad the shifter did not get snapped off (another clue as too how hard he went over)

BlackFlash axle sliders did the job, still functional just a little scuffed on the rear right....

so ya if anyone has a spare clutch lever/kickstand PM me....

I would go with the Pazzo If you cant find a cheep oem replacement. I absolutely love mine. Sucks about the bike, I have walked up on people siting on mine a few times [mad].

Update sent to me this morning via Facebook

"Buddha, I just finished talking with Paul and he didnt know that it was my fault your bike dropped, i didnt see it in the rearview and I asked the boys to put it back up and see if there was any damage...which there didn't appear to be (to them...) I couldnt go and fetch you since everyone was with me, so I just left and thought I would check up later...let me know how much the damage is and I will pay you back, I am so sorry about that...I wish we had a rearview mirror on our right side, thats twice I hit someone parked inthe same spot in two months!!"

so ya, no one sat on him, they just backed into him instead....at least its not money out of my pocket for someone elses mistake and they owned up to it which makes me feel less aggressive cause I was pissed yesterday in a 'someones going to get hurt' kinda way....
and I am much more laid back then that
