Happy Saturday,
Friends and I are planning a trip to Texas the end of September to see the Formula one scene(wish I was there this weekend for the MotoGP!). We have not seen F1 and not been to the new track. Looking for insight from anyone who has been to this track. We are thinking of putting our ***** at turn 9. Is there any free parking? I here Austin is a nice place, any suggestions as too cool bike shops, bars, etc. to visit while there? Any feedback is highly appreciated. Next year Indy Moto GP and the next year....................................BONNEVILLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW, I've heard that those new F1 turbo V6 engines just don't have that same penetrating scream that the old V8s did; that was half the fun of going to a GP race!

eh the sixes have a different sound. For me, most racing is always good. From local yokel tracks to the big time its almost always good. From my research this track is gorgeous.

I don't think the V6s are as big of a deal as Vettle and Ecklestone are making them out to be. They're just different. I was a huge fan of the 12s and 10s, but I really respect small displacement, high horsepower engines.
That said, hit 6th street as mentioned above and put your ass in any seat. A couple of my buddies said anywhere is great.
