Hi there,

I was just look at my xb and i must say she is dirty (jet again) but whats the best way to clean your beest ?
How do you do it en what products do you use ?

I can never get my bike as clean as i would like it to be.

Thnx

Don't use a preasure washer. Car wash soap and a wash mite works pretty well for everything but the rims. If the rims are painted you can get some no sratch scotchbright pads and u can scrub them down to get brake dust off. But I repeat do not use a preassure washer

the pressure washer can get into your wheel bearings, just a heads up

Got a trick from a car guy, our plastics are plastic, believe it or not lol, so he recommended windex to clean, pledge (as a wax). Ill tell you what, my bike has never looked cleaner. If your gonna soak your bike u might as well dunk it in a pond. If needed use some brake clean on the cylinders. As for the wheels, i use some Meguiars Aluminum Wheel cleaner, scrub em real good and rinse/dry.

I use glass cleaner for quick small cleanup, but yeah for the most part CAR WASH soap not ne other. The others have salt or bleach our overly strong detergents in them(dish soap, laundry detergent stuff like those r bad). & Spray wax, and i use tire shine on my triple tail(uly) because it faids out like a tire if i dont. I use a wash mit for most everything and i have a couple scrub brushes for the engine and tires.

I believe windex is meant for glass not plastic. I'm an optician and I've seen it discolor and glaze over plastic lenses.

Pressure washer can also peel layers of plastic off your front fender. 82 bucks to replace it

If you use compressed air to dry the water off your bike after you rinse the soap off it doesn't leave streaks like a towel would. Works great for me IMO.

The lemon thing only works for yellow bikes Lol catch a blonde with the old scratch and sniff lol

Use a pressure washer but dont be a dumbass with it and get to close...

Ive always pressured washed my bikes without any problems. Just dont be stupid with it.
