If I needed a new airbox cover I'd get in on that costie to costie discount to! ;)

It looks awesome man!!! Can't wait to see the final product!

I am excited for this also. I have some old world rally blue paint from my STi that i would love to spray on a clear air box to have a translucent WRC colored air box :D

Sorry guys.. lifes been crazy busy.. I still have everything.. I can get pictures of the failed attempts, its basically boiling down to the product being to thick... once life slows down I will jump back on it.

During the heating process.. it would take forever for it to get plyable.. then bubbles would form inside the polycarbonate.. hundreds of them... and it wouldnt be plyable enough to form over the mold. It gets sorta close but it droops down so much that when i throw it on the vacuum box it folds over it self cause it drooped so far. The bubbled look might be cool but figuring out that process would be even harder to get correct then the one I am working on at the moment.

If anyones got any suggestions hit me up here.

I purchase parts at work, some of which are clear plastic molds. I had our plastic molder look into making me a clear airbox. He looked at it and said for what I needed that I wouldn't like the price. I left it at that. Wish I had better words of encouragement!

I'd be curious as to what they would be. If he could actually make a clear airbox cover with no bubbles, ripples, or defects I'd think there would be at least a few buyers here unless it was an insane number.
