hey i was swapping out my stock levers for some new ones, and now the clutch wont engage at all.
i tried putting the stock ones back on and those arent working either.
anyone else ever have this problem?
anyone know what could be wrong?
I know i have it all set up right its just not working for some strange reason.
thanks

1 - i don't think there is a cable as it is a hydraulic cluctch

2 - is it leaking any fluid anywhere?

3 - someone else chime in... lol

nope no leaking fluid or anything which is why i am confused.
i dont understand why the clutch is not engaging.
ive been messing around with it for a while and with no luck

How does the lever operate?
Is it completely limp?
Is it spongy?
Does it have any resistance what so ever?

Sorry for the lack of proper terms, but when you pull the lever off, where the tip is supposed to actually push into the assembly, look in there. There should be a lever or rod that goes in when you pull the lever. For reference just look at the brake lever, I believe they are similar. You should be hearing a metal click, light sounding, but you should hear it when you pull the lever in.

if there is no pressure...you may have air in your lines, but unless you took off the master cylinder cover, you shouldnt. Also, check your clutch cover to see if it is leaking at all, if it was anything like my last clutch issue, I had a leak and the fluid in the master got so low that air got in the line. I had to bleed the clutch line out and re-fill the master. also check to see that the lever is actuating the pump, as in the little rod that sticks out which is what actually applies the pressure in to the cylinder.

when i pull the lever, its as hard to pull in as it normally is, and there is no leak. The pin is in the lever how it should be, i just dont know what it could be now

ahh i found it, yea the clutch cover is leaking from the black round pegasus piece. its coming out of the bottom of it when i pull the lever

sweet, glad you found the issue. I had the same thing happen to me a few weeks back. I still need to take it in, but havent had the time, I monitor the levels quite frequently and the bike still runs, so not in much of a rush.
