Hi guys, well this weekend (we are a day in front of usa) Ive started pulling my firebolt down to do a custom turbo setup. Ive had to buy a 2004 frame from the states to replace my 2007 frame since the later frame doesnt have the 'hole' to accomodate the turbo's intake plumbing.
My question is, im going to change the head gaskets to cometic 40" and the cylinder gaskets to cometic 20" in the hope of lowering compression to something more suitable. Living in the tropics is no good for boosted, high compression and high ambient motors. Does anyone know what sort of compression this setup may achieve or would I perhaps need to run two head gaskets?
Ive decided to video my progress this time as usually I just end up doing things without documenting it. Not much to show at the moment just a stripped bike.
