I must be stupid but can't figure out how to edit my info on the map...there is no "edit" button...

On the left side of the page with the names, scroll all the way up, there is a red edit button, then click your name and you can add a description. I used this link map

My name is Dallas lol. I live in the Panama City area but grew up in central florida and visit often. As for the edit thing, above this section "Explore making custom maps in an interactive tutorial.
bueller locations for flag challenge" there isn't a red edit button? It shows up on 3 different computers for me

Yeah you have to sign in to your google account. That's why it wasn't working for me before. Then click the red Edit button on the left and it's simple from there.

Nope....just "save to my places".

I signed in not there for me either and my location about 100 miles off

I figured it out. I'm using google chrome, and was in an incognito window. I went to a regular window and it works.

How do I add myself to the map?

click edit, click the blue pin looking thing and place wherever you are on the map, then click on the picture and pick your icon. I've been setting everyone to the motorcycle, but I don't care what you choose.
