I love my Cadillac XLR Bi-Xenon projectors! Both lights on for high and low beam

Sort of. I actually made a custom headlight mount and put actual projectors off of a Cadillac XLR. Then I bought a 6K D2R kit on fleabay, and this is the result. The second pic shows the halos that double as turn signals until I turn the headlights on, then the LEDs on the sides of the fairing take over. It was a fun bit of wiring. This is the schematic. It is slightly altered, but you get the idea

There's a company on ebay that makes the timing covers in a bunch of different styles including the star. Link =)

did you have to drill out the rivets on the original ones and then tap the holes for the new bolts

You do have to drill the rivets off of the old one. When you do you will see there is another plate underneath that which is screwed in. Take that plate off and replace it with the one you ordered. When you order it just tell them where your holes are.. if you look at mine I believe they are at the 11 and 5 position.

Thanks Nikfleisch! It is never finished. I am getting ready to assemble the 1250 kit now with some significant head work. Though not visible, definitely useable!
